Violet Luebs, LLMSW, is the Executive Director and founder of Journey To Freedom Inc. Violet received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Madonna University in 1999 and her Master of Social Work degree from Grand Valley State University in 2004. Violet, a survivor of childhood sexual abuse herself, brings to the ministry an intimate knowledge of sexual abuse and the profound effects this type of abuse has on its victims. Further, Violet has worked many years in the drug and alcohol treatment field and has considerable experience in counseling individuals while working with other various non-profit organizations.
Melinda Fisher, is Journey To Freedom Inc.’s Office Manager and has been with the ministry since its conception. Melinda received her diploma in accounting from National Business School in Chicago, Illinois in 1988 and has many years of office, bookkeeping, and tax experience. Further, Melinda has worked with several non-profit organizations in various capacities including office manager, bookkeeper, fundraiser, and grant writer.
